NO Child Will Drown in Our Town(NCWDOT)

Congratulations!  You are registering for the NCWDOT Adult Swim Clinic(Ages 18+) that will be held on Saturday mornings. Your participation helps to ensure that we eliminate future generations of non-swimmers in our community.

The Adult Swim Clinic  is specifically desigend for individuals with limited to no experience swimming experience. If  you  do not fit this criteria, please do not register for this program. We offer swim lessons with various levels of experience.

What you will learn-

Level 1-Catfish: Introduction to Water Skills: Students will learn how to feel comfortable in the water and safely enjoy it.

Level 2:Nile Perch- Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills: Students will learn basic swimming skills.

Level 3:Water Leopard, Stroke Development: Additional guided practice will help students improve their skills.

There are six classes in this clinic. Age requirements- 18-and up.

Because this is a free swim clinic, we need your commitment to attend each session you selected and arrive at least 10 minutes before class starts. If you are late or miss your session we cannot ensure the drown proofing and progress of the swimmer. It takes a village to support change and we need your commitment to make this happen!

Upon your arrival, you will check in at Guest Services. 

What you will need for the Clinic:

All swimmers must wear a proper swimsuit; Swim trunks (no underwear is to be worn under trunks).  One piece Swim Suit.   (No cut offs or basketball shorts, tee shirts or cover ups worn in the pool).

A bag, towel and sunblock. A change of clothes is optional. No water shoes allowed in pool.

 No plastic bags or scarves can be worn in the pool.

Classes will take place rain or shine. If there is thunder or lightning classes may be delayed or postponed.
