You are registering your child for the NCWDOT Level 1 (Catfish) and Level 2(Nile Perch) Clinic. This class is perfect for a child with limited to no swimming experience. Age requirements- 5-17 years old.

About the Event
NO Child Will Drown in Our Town(NCWDOT)
Congratulations! You are registering your child for the NCWDOT Entry Level Swim Clinic that will be held on Saturday mornings. Your participation helps to ensure that we eliminate future generations of non-swimmers in our community.
The Entry Level Clinic is specifically desigend for child with limited to no experience swimming experience. If your child does not fit this criteria, please do not register for this program. We offer swim lessons with various levels of experience.
What your child will learn-
Level 1-Catfish: Introduction to Water Skills: Students will learn how to feel comfortable in the water and safely enjoy it.
Level 2:Nile Perch- Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills: Children will learn basic swimming skills.
Children will prepared to move into a Level 3 class upon completion of this class.
Because this is a free swim clinic, we need your commitment as parent to ensure your child attends each session you selected and arrives at least 10 minutes before class starts. If you are late or miss your session we cannot ensure the drown proofing and progress of the swimmer. It takes a village to support change and we need your commitment to make this happen!

Upon your arrival, you will check in at Guest Services. Please arrive early to ensure your child gets to experience the entire class.
What you will need for the Clinic:
All swimmers must wear a proper swimsuit; Boys- Swim trunks (no underwear is to be worn under trunks). Girls- One piece Swim Suit. (No cut offs or basketball shorts, tee shirts or cover ups worn in the pool).
A bag, towel and sunblock. A change of clothes is optional. No water shoes allowed in pool.
All participants will receive a free pair of goggles and a swim cap which should be worn each day of the clinic. (no plastic bags or scarves can be worn in the pool)
Classes will take place rain or shine. If there is thunder or lightening classes may be delayed or postponed.
In an effort to adhere to our Covid policy, one adult may accompany each child during the swim lesson.

NCWDOT Saturday Swim Clinic at 9:30 am. If you cannot attend all 4 sessions,please do not reserve a space. To see results you must be present for every class.
