Nile Swim Club Inaugural Pharaoh’s Ball Awards Gala

The Pharaoh’s Ball Awards Gala is a black tie fundraising event presented annually to raise funds and acknowledge those who have contributed to the sustainability of the Club.  The event will also be an Evening on the Nile Experience.  This year’s goal is to present a $75,000 contribution toward Nile Programs and Events. Each year the Gala Committee will support, produce and execute their version of the Pharaoh’s Ball. 

The Venue - The African American Museum of Philadelphia is the perfect backdrop for the evening.  As you travel throughout the museum, guests will enjoy and appreciate the works of African American Artists and Creatives.

The Talent - Carol Riddick, Nadjah Nicole, Charles Bostwick and Sean Smith will showcase their talents and provide the sounds of the evening–a live concert for all– hosted by Patty Jackson.

VIP Reception, 6-7pm

Upon your arrival, you will be escorted to the Exclusive VIP Gallery where you will enjoy photo opportunities with the Entertainers, butlered & stationery hors devours by Eatible Delights, open bar of wine, beer, and signature drinks as well as music and networking. You will have exclusive access and private views of the exhibits.

The Gala, 7pm-11pm

Silent Auction: The NSC will partner with Memorabilia for Charities for the Silent Auction segment. The starting bids for items range from $100-$300. In addition to the Silent Auction, there will be three NSC Baskets available for raffle at $20 an arm length. During the auction, guests will enjoy the Saxophone sounds of Charles Bostwick.

Awards Segment:

• The Pyramid Awards will be presented in two categories: Largest Contributing Organization, Largest Contributing Individual.
• The Pharaoh Award will be presented to the NSC Member who has gone above and beyond through volunteerism and commitment to the Legacy of the Club. 

The Main Event - The sultry sounds of Carol Riddick and Nadjah Nicole will entertain guests for the finale of the Award Segment and as the evening winds down, DJ Franchize will close out the event.

All ticket purchases include a $6 parking voucher for Parkway 8th & Arch Lot, directly next door to AAM of Philadelphia - (Public Parking Lot, space not guaranteed)
